Handcrafted Wood Ornaments & Miniature Art

In addition to the many other things I love to create, I ADORE creating ornaments and miniature art! I hope you enjoy these one of a kind, handmade creations which I make in between larger projects in my studio. Many feature tiny prints of my original art, and several feature wildlife and bird vintage ephemera I've collected over the years. Ornaments are textured and glazed using a variety of colors in natural tones, such as brown, black, gray and blue.
These rustic ornaments feature natural occurring cracks, crevices and holes, adding to their uniqueness & charm. Each ornament is a one of a kind creation - no two are ever alike! |
Wildlife and bird ornaments are created using handmade, live edge wood and are suitable for hanging on Christmas trees, as well as on the wall year-round.
Many of these mixed media ornaments feature pieces of the artist's personal collection of vintage wildlife and bird ephemera and many feature Jai Johnson's original artwork.

Each miniature art creation is formed with tons of exciting texture and a variety of glazes in natural tones, such as brown, black, gray and blue. A variety of miniature canvases and gessoboard surfaces in different sizes are used to create these delightful collectibles. All are stamped on the back with the artist's official stamp.
