The Palette Play Project
AN ABSTRACT ART SERIES BY JAI JOHNSON
Palette Play Painting #3
"Beginning Of The Journey" When one is preparing to leave us, it may look like a dark time, as if it's the end of their journey. When in reality, it's just the beginning.
This painting features a palette of cool blue and gray tones and I've added in a bit of golden yellow and orange, to represent the illuminating light waiting on the other side of the darkness. |
Palette Play Painting #2
"CONVERGE" Those who allow their light to shine will rise above the darkness and converge, forming beautiful music in the sky.
This painting features a palette of cool blue tones and striking contrast, perfect for those who love the dramatic differences between light and dark. |
Palette Play Painting #1
"LET GO" Part of my goal with this series is to paint loose, and paint quickly, which requires letting go. Letting go enables me to detach from an preconceived notions I may have about what I want a painting to look like. It encourages me to be more expressive, and relinquish control to a free, creative spirit. This painting features a palette of cool blues paired with warmer neutral tones, and it's a wonderful choice for those who love abstract works in a subdued coastal look.
